Dear Connie and Kevin,
My heart is sad but I am grateful I was able to see Joyce the other day. I will always remember my childhood memories spending weekends out at your farm. Riding horses, helping to move the cows from pasture to pasture and driving the old farm truck all around in the cornfields....and we were only in sixth grade! Joyce was a wonderful woman and I will miss her very much. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love and Hugs to all.

Connie, Kevin, Jessica & family -
I am so very sorry for your loss - especially with such a sudden decline in her health. I am so glad that we were able to spend time together last week! As always, I left Joyce's home feeling touched by her strength, resilience & love of family. I loved Joyce, and will miss her amazing energy, her caring heart, and her giving spirit!
May God bless you all!

Dear Jessica and family, What a wonderful legacy Joyce has left on earth that will continue to affect eternity for years to come and really as our lives are such a small thing, a grain in the scope of eternity, it brings God glory for her to have made that grain make such an impact. What a moment it must have been to open her eyes and see the One she loved and served so diligently. We weep for loss but in knowing her you have gained so much. "Man's chief end is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever." It sounds like she did both of these well while on earth and I'm sure she is loving continuing these actions now, face to face! Praying for the comforting arms of our Father around you all.

Dear Holst family,
I am so sorry to hear of Joyce passing suddenly. She was such a vibrant, loving grandmother. I will miss our Tuesday conversations at the Princeton library. We became fast friends when she started bringing the grandchildren to the library several years ago. We bonded over our love of our grandchildren and would share stories of being very hands on with our families. I was surprised to find out she was a dozen years older than I! She had so much love and energy for all her grand babies and family and was such a sweetheart to know.
Thinking of you all at this time,
Penne Miller

We are so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was a neat lady. We were guests for dinner one day we were there, because your parents "wanted to pay us back for inviting your dad & grandfather to eat with us" when they were delivering a bull. They were very thoughtful people.

Connie and Kevin,

I am so, so sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. Her smile and loving heart are what I remember the most about your sweet mom. I looked forward to receiving her Christmas card every year....our way of keeping in touch after I moved. Sandy sends her condolences as well. Our prayers are with you all in the days to come.

I was so saddened to read of Joyce's passing. Such a neat lady. We always talked about the Cyclones and Hawks. She was such a huge fan of Iowa State. I think Connie turned her into a Cardinal fan, also. Always talked about her grandchildren.
Connie and Kevin, I want to express my deep sorrow at her passing.
