I first knew Maxine through the Bettendorf Library Book Club and then would see her at the Bettendorf Fitness Center when she and her husband would be walking. Often he would continue walking and she would read. I would sit with her, and we would talk about books. She was a delightful individual.

I am sorry to hear of Maxine's passing. My condolences to Fred and the rest of the family. I did not know her well, but what I will remember of her is her sense of humor and how much fun she was to talk to.

Green family. So sorry to hear of Mom's passing. She was such a large part of our growing up, making us feel welcome in your home, challenging us to be better kids and always leaving us with a full stomach. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to the family of Maxine. She was so positive and outgoing. I hope she enjoyed her days at Pleasant Valley High as much as I did. She raised a great family.

Sending thoughts to Maxine's family. We were booster moms together for both music and athletics, our boys were friends, we laughed together and loved always being in the bleachers or theater seats. Blessings to the Green family.
