Theresa Marie Loiselle, age 68, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Dove Health Care in Chippewa Falls after a long, hard fought battle with colon cancer.
She was born August 15, 1949, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Warren and Marie (Cunningham) Berkenbile.
Theresa was a 1967 graduate of Bettendorf High School in Bettendorf. She married Melvin “Topper” Thomas in 1973 in Bettendorf and later divorced in 2001.
In the summer of 1989, Theresa and her family relocated to Chetek, Wisconsin. Theresa loved to go to the casino, play miniature golf in the Wisconsin Dells, garden and travel.
She spent many of her working years in the toy department and garden center at the Rice Lake Wal-Mart. She also worked for ISS of Eau Claire working in Cray, Nestle, and 3M facilities. In addition, she worked at Chippewa County at the Romeis Apartment Complex preparing meals on wheels.
Theresa was united in marriage to Jeffrey A. Loiselle in 2008, and resided in Chippewa Falls.
Theresa will be sadly missed by her husband Jeff Loiselle of Chippewa Falls; daughter Amanda (Chad) Godhe of Spooner; brother Glen (Bonnie) Berkenbile of Bettendorf and many friends and family.
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2018, at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, 644 River Drive, Bettendorf. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
