Mary Allean Osborn, 74, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at her home.

                Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois.  Those wishing to attend the service will gather at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, Iowa at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the family to help care for Mary’s daughter Leisa.

                Mary was born November 2, 1937 in Kirksville, Missouri the daughter of George Washington and Gracie Mae (Mitchell) Williams. She was united in marriage to Donald Russell Osborn on October 27, 1952 in Buffalo, Iowa.  He preceded her in death in 2001.

                Mary enjoyed watching all types of sports especially NASCAR, boxing and football.

                Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Marie “Maggie” Osborn, Chillicothe, Missouri and Leisa Osborn, Davenport, Iowa; her son, Mark (Patsy) Osborn, Davenport; her grandchildren, Shanon Stewart, Mary Cameron, Marc Cameron, Bradley Neyens and Joseph Norwood all of Davenport, Kristina Osborn and Donald Osborn both of Washington State and Michael Ford of Parkview, Iowa; thirteen great-grandchildren; her sisters, Dorothy (Carl) Craig, Burlington, Iowa and Pauline (Sonny) Mountain, Kirksville, Missouri; her brother, George (Kathy) Williams, Kirksville, Missouri; her daughters-in-law, Kathy Spencer, Kelly Thompson and Patty Osborn and her son-in-law, Danny Stewart.

                In addition to her husband, Donald she was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Osborn; her parents and her brother, Robert Leon Williams.
