Dear family of Bill,
I am saddened by this news. What a fun man, a great neighbor, my dad's best friend. All the memories are coming back as I think of Bill. The summers spent playing horse shoes, and going to Dairy Queen for banana splits with my dad. It was always a treat to spend the night with my pal Lori. On Fridays we would always go to McDonalds. To the family, the loss is unbearable, but his memory will live on. Keep him in your hearts always. Your love for him will never die. Jackie, I hope you can get together with my mom. You can comfort each other. Love you all, Tanya

Jackie,
It is a sad day to hear of Bill's passing. God has him in His keeping.
We have him in our hearts.
I never met Bill or you, Jackie, but Sandra Sue (Hillyer) Reyna is a wonderful sister to me. I do not use "In Law". Sandra Sue is much closer to me than that.

Jackie and family,

Our deepest condolences and prayers are being lifted up for you and your family at this time of sorrow. Bill will always remain in your heart.

Cliff always reads the obituaries and was nearly in a state of shock when he saw Bill's. We can only assume that cancer was involved since memorials are to the American Cancer Society.

The last time I saw Bill was at the Bettendorf Goodwill store. I was probably there more frequently than Bill. I can't remember our conversation other than we questioned where large sums of money go when we put it in the stock market. It can be put in one day and then next day it is gone. Where does it go? He must have had a similar experience.

I pray that this finds you in good health. Your family and neighbors will help sustain you. Our prayers are with you and your family. Cliff and Bobbi Smith

Jackie and family,

To say I’m shocked about Bill's passing is an understatement. Spending time with bill was a blast, whether it was at work, going on the boat or having breakfast we always seemed to have fun. He was a great guy and we all will miss him. It seems like it was just yesterday, but the great memories will last a lifetime. He often talked very highly about you.

Our deepest condolences; Scott & Aleisha Patchin

To Jackie, Robi, and family.... I was so sorry to read of Bill's passing. I have so many fond memories of hanging out at the Hillyer's house... and going on vacation with you all! I was first introduced to McDonald's with you (not sure if that was a *good* introduction, ha ha!)... and also my first introduction to country music (listened to Crystal Gayle on the way down to Florida, if I recall!). I also remember that Robi had the coolest paint design in her room (kudos to Bill for his painting skills!). I always found Robi's folks to be the sweetest and most laid-back parents on the block. You're in my thoughts... best wishes to you in the future.... Love, Holly
