To the entire Mottet Family, Chad & Shelley, Mike & Tammy, David & Sue, Bette, we are deeply saddened by the unexpected loss of Jerry. He was such a wonderful husband to my sister, Jo, and he was a fun brother-in-law. Here it is, ten months since we were all together in the Trinity Cemetery honoring the burial of Grandpa and Grandma. It was so thoughtful of Jerry to come all the way from Florida.

When he was a young guy dating sis, he was quite a mover. Had a red Plymouth convertible, a speed boat which he raced. One time long hair and a beard. Bell bottom slacks and was some kind of a dancer. Kind of reminded of Elvis P!

We will miss his great smile and all his stories. God Bless you all.

I came to know Jerry through my work at BMS with Jo. I even tried to teach him how to cook after Jo died! He was so full of life and enjoyed his family immensely. I extend my deepest sympathy to all of you.

Bette, David, Mike and Chad.
My loving thoughts are with you at this time of sorrow. I'm sorry I could not be with you today. I have known Jerry for over 50 years. I will remember the good times that Buzz and I had with Jo and Jerry over the years, raising the kids, camping, car races and just plain fun. Know that there is a big reunion in heaven about now. Sympathy from Barbara Patrick in Arkansas.

David, Mike, and Chad--
Your mom and I worked together in the Middle School Library for 13 years, and it seems not very long ago that you had to mourn her loss. I loved working with Jo, and both John and I were very fond of Jerry.
He was kind and funny and always enjoyable to be with. I'm very sorry to hear about his death, and sorry that you have to face the premature passing of another dear parent.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. (We have moved to Wisconsin, and if we were in the QC, I would stop over to give you these wishes in person.) Our sincere sympathy to all of you.
