Adam S. Jones, 46, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at his residence.

      A memorial service will be held at Noon on Saturday, August 1st at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to your local animal shelter or humane society.

      Adam was born on May 27, 1980, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Robert L. and Carilee (Freidag) Jones. He grew up in Muscatine, IA and graduated in 1998 from Muscatine High School, where he played on the soccer team. He continued his education at Muscatine Community College and St. Ambrose University, graduating in 2002 with his bachelor’s degree in public relations and marketing. Adam worked at Target and for the QC River Bandits. He enjoyed spending time with his long-term girlfriend, Karen Brown, family, and friends. He valued the friendships and the memories he shared with each one. He loved traveling, attending concerts, and game nights. He also was an avid Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, and Indiana Fever fan. Finally, Adam was a devoted life-long animal lover and spent a great deal of time with his two cats.

      Those left to honor his memory are his mother, Carilee Jones of Appleton, Wisconsin; brother, Chris (Yuyun Sejati) Jones of Neenah, Wisconsin; his nephew, Jaya Jones of Neenah; and girlfriend, Karen Brown of Eldridge.

      He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Jones and his aunt, Linda (Jones) Petersen.
