Alexzander D. "Zander" Zank

A Celebration of Life for Jaime Lynn Schelhaas and Jaime and Joel's son, Alexzander D. “Zander” Zank, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Hope Church, 5019 Hopewell Avenue in Bettendorf, Iowa. The family extends an invitation to all to join them following the service at the Tanglewood Hills Pavillion, 4250 Middle Road in Bettendorf for a time of fellowship and refreshments. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of Daniel Schelhaas.

Zander was born in Davenport, Iowa on October 21, 2016, the son of Joel A. Zank and Jaime Lynn Schelhaas. He was a third grader at Bridgeview Elementary School in LeClaire. Zander was a typical, active 9-year-old who loved skateboarding, riding his bike, jumping on the trampoline, and playing with his many friends.

Those left to honor his memory include his father, Joel Zank; his brothers, Daniel Schelhaas, Bryce Schelhaas and Caleb Marquardt, all of LeClaire; his grandparents, Lynetta Brouwer of Dodge Center, Minnesota, Ronald and Frannie Schelhaas of Bettendorf and David and Angela Zank of Canton, Illinois; his great-grandmother, Laurene Ruff of Altoona, Wisconsin; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Jaime and Zander will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved them.
