Ann Anahid Dadaian, 93, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, at MercyOne Genesis in Davenport.
A graveside service to honor her life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Oakdale Memorial Gardens in Davenport. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home of Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on September 19, 1931, in Davenport, Ann was the daughter of Martin and Siranoush (Halajian) Dadaian. She grew up with a deep love for music, especially the piano, and delighted in attending theater performances and musical events. These passions brought her joy and reflected her appreciation for beauty, culture, and creativity.
Ann dedicated many years of her life to her work as a typist at the Rock Island County Abstract Office, where she was known for her diligence, precision, and loyalty. She continued working with remarkable dedication until the age of 80, forming lasting friendships along the way.
A gracious and welcoming hostess, Ann treasured time with friends and family. She loved opening her home to others, filling it with conversation, laughter, and warmth.
Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, Raphy Dadaian; her niece, Lydia; her nephew, Tony; and many other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Simmon “Bert” Dadaian.
Ann will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of music, and the way she made those around her feel valued and at home.
