Beverly Ann Kisner

Beverly A. Kisner, 82, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Davenport Lutheran Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf, Iowa.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to Moody Radio (WDLM) of the Quad-Cities.

Beverly was born January 1, 1941 in Iowa, City, Iowa, the daughter of Bernhard E. & Dorothy A. (Yeries) Schroeder.
Beverly was retired from the former Red Jacket Manufacturing Company in Davenport.  She was a member of Quad-Cities Greyhound Adoption and enjoyed taking her greyhound, ”Brook” to area nursing homes as a therapy dog, providing comfort for the residents.

She was a longtime member of Westside Assembly of God in Davenport and she had been active in Bible Study Fellowship and the Fulfilled Women’s Ministry.  Beverly was also a member of the Quad-City Celiac Group and she had enjoyed fishing and cross-stitch.

Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Richard (Brenda) Kisner of Davenport and Steven Kisner of Letts, Iowa; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her sister, Vivian (Michael) Rekemeyer; her brother, Richard (Janis) Schroeder of Texas; and her sister-in-law, Betty Lou Schroeder of Muscatine, Iowa  

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her brother, Gordon Schroeder; and her grandson, Matthew Kisner.
