Bonnie Louise Unger, 55, of LeClaire, Iowa, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 2, 2025.
Bonnie’s love for Jesus was evident in her kindness, her strength, and the way she cared for others. “All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure” (1 John 3:3)—words that echo the hope she held close throughout her life.
Born on July 7, 1970, in El Reno, Oklahoma, Bonnie was the daughter of Clyde “Todd” Unger and Georga (Holder) Cullison. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren, who brought light and laughter to her days.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Ashley (John) Druhl and Matthew (Nova) Cullison; her mother, Georga Cullison of Bettendorf, IA; her father, Clyde “Todd” Unger (Lynn); siblings, Eddie (Lucinda) Unger, Johnnie (Adrian) Unger, Misty (Anthony) Short, and Stephanie (Joshua) Katcher; and her cherished grandchildren: Jackson, Jordan, Copper, and Jasmine.
Bonnie held a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews: Derek, Destiny, Oliver, Bella, Kellen, Emry, Jaylynne, and Joseph.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Larry Cullison; her maternal grandparents, Ed and Janice Poggenpohl; her paternal grandmother, Bonnie Unger; aunts Donna and Bobbie Poggenpohl; and nephew Blake Unger.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal services. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Ashley Druhl.
