Burnice M. Kelly, 92, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa and formerly of Ogdensburg, New York died on Thursday, January 06, 2011 at the Clarissa Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
She will be laid to rest in Ogdensburg at a later date. Memorials may be made to Notre Dame Catholic Church in Ogdensburg. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home of Bettendorf, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
Burnice was born January 18, 1918 in Ogdensburg and was a registered nurse at the former St. Lawrence State Hospital in Ogdensburg. She married Robert Bernard Kelly who preceded her in death.
Those left to honor her memory include her son, Vince (Donna) Kelly of Bettendorf; her granddaughters, Kristi Bullock and Robin Porter; ten great-grandchildren; and her sister, Doris Kelly of Ogdensburg.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her half-sister, Eileen Graveline and her brothers, Richard “Dick” Dashnaw and Allen Dashnaw.
