Funeral services for Carol Gwen Reding, 60, of LeClaire, IA, will be 10:30 am on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, IA. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Pleasant Valley, IA. Family will greet friends on Wednesday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the funeral home.

Carol passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at her home in LeClaire, IA.

Carol Gwen Stark was born on November 22, 1965, in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Willis and Carol (Baumbach) Stark. She married Dewayne Reding on July 26, 1986, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pleasant Valley, IA. She enjoyed painting and cooking. She worked as an LPN at Vera French Pine Knoll, Davenport, IA for over 10 years, retiring in 2015.

Survivors include her husband, Dewayne of LeClaire, IA, daughter, Ashton Reding of Matherville, IL, brothers, Jeffrey (Julie) Stark of FL. and Robert (Sherry) Stark of Bettendorf, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael Stark.
