Cheryl Elmore

Funeral services for Cheryl Elmore, 64, of LeClaire, will be 10:30 am on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial will take place at McCausland Cemetery, McCausland, Iowa. Family will greet friends on Saturday from 9:30 am to service time at the funeral home.

Cheryl passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023, at Unity Point Health, Bettendorf, Iowa.

Cheryl Lee Pauline Warren was born on June 6, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Howard Warren and Nona Marie (Ripperdan) Michell. Raised by Nona Marie and Robert Michell, she married James Lee Elmore Jr. in Granite City, Illinois on November 15th, 1980. He preceded her in death in 1998.

Cheryl enjoyed crocheting, watching movies, dancing and working puzzles.

Survivors include her sons, Nick Elmore of Lowden, Iowa, Zach (Racheal) Elmore of LeClaire,  Alex (Beth) Elmore of Bettendorf, and Josh (Rachelle) Elmore of Clinton; ten grandchildren; sisters, Valerie Sensemeyer and Donna Meinecke of St. Louis, Missouri;  mother, Marie Michell and step-father, Robert Michell of Fenton, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her father.
