Christine M. Swisher, 48, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, August 25, 2009.
Her funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, August 28, 2009 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel in Bettendorf, Iowa. Interment will be private. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
She was born August 20, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Walter S. & Rose Marie (Butts) Ozmon. On January 20, 2007, she was united in marriage to Gary A. Swisher in Davenport.
Christine was an in-home care giver for the elderly. Among the things she enjoyed were going to garage sales, caring for her yard and animals of all kinds, especially birds, big cats, dolphins & butterflies. She also loved to wear her jewelry.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Gary; her sons, Mike Ozmon, Nate Ozmon, Todd Ozmon, Jason Swisher, Jon Ozmon, Joey Ozmon, Matthew Swisher and Seth Ozmon, all of Davenport; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband’s daughter, Baylee.
