Daniel C. Beckmann, 63, of LeClaire, Iowa, passed away Friday May 31, 2013 at Trinity Bettendorf. Per Daniel’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded.
A Celebration of Life will be held 4-6 PM Monday June 3, 2013 at Riverview Roadhouse in LeClaire.
Daniel was born August 3, 1949 in Bettendorf, Iowa, the son of Richard and Dorothy (Baumbach) Beckmann. In 1989 he united in marriage to Joyce Wallace in Las Vegas, Nevada. Daniel enjoyed playing golf. He was the originator of the Tug Fest, and was an avid Hawkeye and Steelers fan. "Show me a good loser, and I'll show you a loser."
Those left to honor his memory include his wife Joyce Beckmann; mother Dorothy Beckmann; 3 sons Brad Beckmann, Jesse (Amy) Gardner, and Scott (Lindsay) Gardner; 7 grandchildren: Ashli, Kenzi, Germany, Taylor, Maddie, Ty, and Lola; 1 great granddaughter Ada; brother-in-laws Tim and Don Wallace; and sister-in-laws Kathleen Wallace and Debbie Hodge. He was preceded in death by his Father Richard Beckmann; Brother Billy Beckmann; and Uncle Clifford Beckmann.
