Darrin M. Guthmiller

Darrin Martin Guthmiller, 58, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died on Friday, November 7, 2025, in Davenport.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, November 21, 2025 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf, Iowa.

Darrin was born on April 2, 1967, at the Ellsworth Air Force Base in Rapid City, South Dakota, the son of August E. and Alicia V. (Vincent) Guthmiller.

He had recently been employed as a restaurant cook and in earlier years, worked as a phlebotomist at Genesis Medical Center and had worked for Sears Manufacturing in Davenport.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Alexice Guthmiller; his sons, Anthony “Tony” Guthmiller, Rusty Guthmiller and Austin Guthmiller; eleven grandchildren; his sisters, Valerie Coday and Arlene Guthmiller; and his brother, Mark Guthmiller.

Darrin was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Guthmiller, and by his parents.
