David E. Struble, 63, of Davenport, died Saturday, February 5, 2001 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date in Colona Cemetery in Colona, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the family.
David was born February 20, 1947 in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of Claire E. & Mary L. (Hildebrand) Struble.
He enjoyed repairing small engines and fishing and boating on the Mississippi River.
Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Mary Kitt of Davenport; four grandchildren; and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary & Venetta Struble of Princeton, Iowa and Donald & Betty Struble of Marseilles, Illinois.
David was preceded in death by his father, Claire Struble; his daughter, Tracy Struble; his son, Kenneth Struble; and his step-father, Rex Kitt.
