Obituary: David A. Lindsey
David A. Lindsey, 58, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at the Apostolic Sanctuary in Silvis, Illinois on Friday, September 3, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Burial will be at Pine Grove United Baptist Church Cemetery in Pine Grove Kentucky.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Brownsville Kentucky Community Center on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 3:00 P.M.
McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home of Bettendorf, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
He was born in Brownsville on December 6, 1951, the son of Garland & Gertie (Davis) Lindsey.
David was employed as a welder for several area manufacturing companies.
He loved his family and enjoyed the out-of-doors.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Lena Lindsey and his son, Michael Lindsey, both of Louisville, Kentucky; two grandchildren; his sister, Joyce Smith of Jeffersonville, Indiana; and several nieces & nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents; and thirteen sisters & brothers.
