Diane L. Haigh

Diane L. Haigh, 73, of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed away suddenly and peacefully on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.

A celebration of Diane’s life will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Palmer Hills Golf Course in Bettendorf.  McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home of Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.

Diane was born March 20, 1950 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Sidney A. & Arline R. (Lamp) Pelo.  She was a graduate of Bettendorf High School. Diane was married to John Haigh but had remained close friends with him following their divorce.

Diane was employed for over thirty years with the Rock Island Arsenal.  She was proud and honored to travel to Kuwait as a civilian during the Gulf War.

She had enjoyed fishing, golfing, tending to her flower garden and always looked forward to traveling to Florida with her family each year.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Jennifer Jarrett of Wellington, Colorado; her grandsons, Nolan, Chase and Ryker; her siblings, Debbie Guilfoyle and Dan Pelo, both of Bettendorf and Scott Rocker of Pleasant Valley, Iowa; and several beloved nieces.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents; and her friend and niece, Ashley Pelo.
