Dixie A. Sours, 74, of Blue Grass, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 8th at Berean Baptist Church, Davenport. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be directed to the family. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Dixie was born on July 30, 1951 in Ottumwa, Iowa the daughter of Arthur and Shirley (McKittrick) Buck. She graduated from West High School in 1969. On May 9, 1970, she married Paul V. Sours in Davenport. Dixie worked for over 35 years in the accounts department at Petersen Harned Von Maur and later in the corporate office. She enjoyed gardening and canning, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Those left to honor her memory are her husband, Paul Sours of Blue Grass; her sons, Paul Sours Jr. and Eric Sours, both of Blue Grass; siblings, Twyla (Jim) Salsberry of Davenport, Debra (David) Harris of Davenport, and Brian (Deana) Buck of Mankato, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Diana Richards and Alan Buck.
