Dorothy Figg, 90, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died on Monday October 23, 2006 at Riverview Manor Nursing Home, Pleasant Valley, Iowa.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Pine Hill Cemetery Chapel, Davenport, Iowa. Friends may pay their respects from 12:00 Noon to 12:30 P.M. Thursday at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Memorials may be made to Newcomb Presbyterian Church, Davenport where she was a member.
She was born March 7, 1916 in Scott County, Iowa, the daughter of Charles & Veda (McCrellis) Incze. In 1938, she was united in marriage to Robert LeRoy Figg in Davenport. He preceded her in death in 1993.
Dorothy & her husband owned & operated Figg Heating & Air-Conditioning in Davenport for 45 years.
Those left to honor her memory include her sister, Inez Dodds of Las Vegas, Nevada; her nephew, George Thuenen of Bettendorf; nieces & nephews in Sacremento, California, Las Vegas, Nevada and Shawnee, Kansas; and many grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great-grand-nieces & great-grand-nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Isaacson, ruth Thuenen & Eugenia Puck; and her brothers, Frances, Gregory, Donald & Charles Incze.
