Duayne F. Haessler, 73, of LeClaire, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his family.

      Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Noon on Thursday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Funeral services will begin at Noon. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery, LeClaire.

      Duayne was born on January 26, 1953 in Davenport, the son of Frederick and Catharine (Hoffstetter) Haessler. Following his graduation from Pleasant Valley High School, he attended Black Hawk College where he achieved his CNC machinist degree. On August 20, 1983 he married Anna L. Kasper in LeClaire. Duayne worked as a machinist at Alcoa (Arconic) for over 30 years until his retirement in 2015. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether he was hunting, fishing, planting trees or gardening. Duayne also loved playing and watching sports.

      Those left to honor his memory are his wife, Anna Haessler; daughters, Catherine Haessler, Anna Marie (John) Starcevich, Tiphanie (Jake) Evans; sons, Steven (Brandi) Haessler, JR (Heather) Kundert, Jaiden Haessler, Josiah Haessler; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grand-children; and siblings, Karen (William) Welter, Ed (Barb) Haessler, Leroy (Wanda) Haessler, Robert Haessler.

      In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Hartz.
