Effie D. Triplett, 52, of Davenport, died Thursday, December 16, 2004 at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport. Funeral services will be on Sunday, December 26, 2004 in Louisville, Mississippi. Taylor’s Funeral Home in Louisville is assisting the family with arrangement.
Effie was born on March 20, 1952 in Winston County, Mississippi, the daughter of Clemons and Rosy (Crosby) Holmes.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Otis; her daughter, Sharon Fuller, Louisville; her sons Elijah Johnson, Davenport and Anthony Johnson, Des Moines, Iowa; sixteen grandchildren; her sisters Rosie Holmes, Ethel Jackson, Della Hardin, Mary Lee Johnson, Roheisha Holmes, and Betty Shields; her brothers, John Lee Holmes, Robert Holmes, Jerry Holmes, and Tyrone Holmes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
