Eloise J. Boley

Private family graveside services for Eloise Joyce Boley, of Bettendorf, will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport at a later date.

Eloise passed away at 90, on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at the Iowa Masonic Health Facility, Bettendorf, Iowa.

                Eloise Joyce McCollom was born on April 22, 1933, in Winterset, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Irene (Hope) McCollom. She married Donald Boley in Davenport on September 29, 1951. After 29 years they divorced. She worked as an agent for the IRS for 20 years, retiring in 1999.

        Eloise enjoyed crafts, reading, crocheting, knitting, and spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Donald Boley Jr. of Bettendorf, Daniel “Joe” (Lynn) Boley of East Moline. and Jeff (Diane) Boley of Davenport; daughter-in-law Theresa (Curtis Todd) Boley of Bettendorf; grandchildren, Chad, Julia, Lucas, Brandon, Ryan, Travis, Jessie, Nicole, April, Britney; several great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Curtis Todd and David; daughters, Tami  and Debbie Rae, grandson, Jared; brother:,Wayne McCollom and sister, Mary Bognar.

The family would like to thank the Iowa Masonic staff for all the love, kindness and care they showed Eloise while she resided there. And thank you to the Genesis Hospice staff for their care and compassion for Eloise and the family during Eloise’s last week of life.
