Emily T. Billings, 102, of Davenport, formerly of LeClaire, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Davenport Lutheran Living Communities.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18th at Glendale Cemetery in Le Claire, Iowa.

Emily was born on July 23, 1923 in Neillsville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Alois and Francis (Pesvia) Tichy. She worked for Florsheim Shoe Company for five years before marrying LeRoy Billings on September 29, 1946 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Their marriage was blessed with five children, and Emily devoted her life to her family and household. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star - Silver Creek Chapter 203 in LeClaire, Civic Club of LeClaire, G.R.B. Cub 55, and attended LeClaire Presbyterian Church. Emily enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, and taking walks.

Those left to honor her memory are her daughters, Carolyn (Thomas) Ganiaris of New Jersey and Kathleen Billings of Minnesota; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; sons, Robert, Keith, and Billy Billings; and six siblings.
