Frances Ulrich, 82, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa died Thursday, May 20, 2004 at the Bettendorf Healthcare Center.
Services will be private. Memorials may be made to the family. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.
She was born June 27, 1921 in Marathon, Iowa, the daughter of Herbert C. & Ora E. (Gordon) Jones.
In earlier years, she was employed as an ambulance attendant in Sac City, Iowa.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters & son-in-law, Ann Carter of Springfield, Missouri, Nelda & Mark Kirkholm of Storm Lake, Illinois and Rosemary Prunty of Syracuse, Ohio; her sons & daughters-in-law, Gordon & Jeanne Jones of Bettendorf, Terrance & Carol Simonson of Lake City, Florida, Donald Simonson in Florida and George & Jan Ulrich of Payton, Colorado; twenty-three grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; her sister, Joy Mortenson of Mesa, Arizona; and her brother, Robert Jones of Warsaw, Virginia.
She was preceded in death an infant son; her daughter, Monica Garrett; and three sisters.
