Glen Earl Marston

Glen Earl Marston, 81, of Davenport, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Good Samaritan Care Center, Davenport, IA. Private family graveside services will take place at a later date at Pinehill Cemetery, Davenport, IA.

Glen was born on May 11, 1945, in Chicago, IL, the son of Earl and Victoria (Sorenson) Marston. He married Susan Shafer in Fulton, IL, on May 1, 1996. He worked at the Cordova Power plant for many years and as a handyman before retiring in 2017. He served in the U.S. Army until September 1973 when he was Honorably Discharged. He was a member of the National Rifle Association; he enjoyed fishing, shooting guns and carpentry.

Survivors include his wife, Sue of Davenport, daughters, Debbie Shelton of Canada, Angela (Eric) Koberg of Eldridge, IA, Kim (Mike) McLaughlin of WI, grandchildren, Mersadie, Mason, Mackenzie, Shaylynn, AJ, McKeagon, Jacob, Haidyn, Madelyn, Sawyer, and Raea and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jim Marston, a daughter, Christina Rigby, and a brother, Kenny Marston.
