Glenda E. Teel, 84, of New Windsor, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at her home.

Her visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2026 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Private committal services will be held at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mercer County Animal Shelter in Aledo, Illinois.

Glenda was born April 26, 1941 in Sikeston, Missouri, the daughter of Otis & Dessie (Price) Jones. She was united in marriage to Harold L. Teel, Sr. on July 1, 1961 in Davenport, Iowa. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2018.Glenda enjoyed shopping and thrifting for many years.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda & David Lash of Montpelier, Iowa; her sons and daughters-in-law, Harold & Hope Teel of New Windsor, Illinois, Mark & April Teel of Pensacola, Florida and Mike & Lori Teel of New Windsor; 18 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; her sister, Anna Mason of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and her furbabies, Ricky & Rusty.

In addition to her husband, Harold, Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; her grandson, Seth Teel; her great-grandchildren, Danika and Madison Gerber and Sadie Burroughs; and her daughter-in-law, Lorna Teel.
