Funeral services for Herb Willers Sr.,77, of Bettendorf, will be 11:00 am on Monday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport. Family will greet friends on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.

Herb passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, at his home in Bettendorf.

Herb was born on January 18, 1948, in Davenport, the son of Arthur and Phyllis (Peters) Willers. He married Patricia Ann Harlow on November 18, 1967, in Davenport. She preceded him in death on June 9, 2014. He worked at Case as an experimental machinist from the early 1970’s until closing in 1987. He then worked a McLaughlin Body as a painter for 16 years, retiring in 2013. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, music and serving as Troop Leader for the Boy Scouts when his kids were little. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1968-1970.

Survivors include his daughter; Michelle (Brad) Sprout of Davenport, sons; Herbert Willers Jr. of Davenport and Scott Willers, of Bettendorf, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, his sister, JoAnn (James) Edwards of Blue Grass, a brother, Jack (Marg) Willers of Davenport.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patricia, and a brother, Arthur Willers Jr.
