Inez M. Morgan

Inez M. Morgan, 91, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa died Sunday, January 18, 2004 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus in Davenport, Iowa.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
She was born January 11, 1913 in Monticello, Iowa, the daughter of William & Blanche (Ryan) Podhaski. She married Elmer Dale Smith in Galesburg, Illinois in 1930. He preceded her in death in 1938. She later married Stanley B. Morgan in Kansas City, Kansas on January 29, 1945. He preceded her in death on April 10, 1981.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Beverly Sprout of Galt, Missouri, Phyllis Herrick of Davenport and Sheryl Hokinson of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; her sons, Richard Smith of Princeton, Iowa and Gene Morgan of Blue Grass, Iowa; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Veda Miller of Monticello, Iowa.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, a grandson, a great-grandson, two sisters and two brothers.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus for their loving care during their mother’s illness.
