Irene Ann Leeper, 86, of Bettendorf passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at MercyOne Genesis – East Campus, Davenport.

Irene Carson was born on January 23, 1939, in Pisgah, IA, the daughter of Clyde and Grace (Gatrost) Carson. She married Harold Lloyd Leeper in 1956, he preceded her in death on December 24, 2004.

Survivors include her daughters, Denise Buri of Davenport, Deborah (Terry) Simonson of Mesa, AZ, sons, Rudy Leeper and Dallas Leeper, both of Bettendorf, a stepdaughter, Vicki Buckallew of Union, MO, grandchildren, Patrick Carpenter, Raymond Sanders, Lesslie Olszewski, Christopher Buri, Nicky & Alex Bassett and a great granddaughter, Lilly Sanders.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Donna Chambers.
