Jacob Dean Young

          Jacob Dean Young, 36, of Plano, Illinois passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 after a courageous battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. (ALL)

          A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at the Chambers Funeral Home of Eldridge, Iowa.  Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the family.

          Jacob was born on May 6, 1987 in Anaheim, California.  He grew up in Keithsburg, Illinois where he made lifelong friends and many memories.

          He loved spending time with his friends and family, fishing with his brother, making people laugh, and his cats.  Time with his daughter, Vivienne, was what was most precious to him.

          Jacob is survived by his daughter, Vivienne and her mother, Danna of Leland, Illinois; his mother, Melody Kaasa and her husband, Gary of Davenport, Iowa; his father, Brad Loveridge and his wife, Alanna of Aledo, Illinois; his sister, Caitlin Lewis and her husband, Ike of Muscatine, Iowa; his brother, Bradley Loveridge and his wife, Brianna of Somonauk, Illinois and his sister, Allison Bishop and her husband, Doug of Germantown Hills, Illinois; his “bonus” sisters, Kayla, Kelsey, Amanda and Olivia; and his “bonus” brothers, Garner, Dalton, Tanner, Cameron and Austin.  He is also survived by his nephews, Quinn, Finnegan and Ryder; his nieces, Evelyn, Aida, Rachel and Aemilia; his grandparents, Richard and Marilyn Young, Larry Loveridge and Martha Hines; and his mother-in-law, Lorry Baumbach.

          He was preceded in death by his grandma, Jeanita Young; his grandpa, Eddie Hines; and his aunt, Tina Young.
