James Endresak, 79, of Davenport, Iowa, died Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport.
Graveside eservices will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Rock Island National Cemetery in Rock Island, Illinois. Those wishing to attend should meet at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home by 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
Jim was born September 13, 1935 in Bettendorf, Iowa, the son of Joe H. & Anna I. (Jurnus) Endresak. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Jim was united in marriage to Connie K. Ricketts on June 4, 1960 in Muscatine, Iowa.
Jim had worked on the hotline at Alcoa for over thirty years. He had enjoyed golfing, bowling and the Atlanta Braves.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Connie; his son, Jim Endresak of Davenport; his daughter, Sonya Lowery of Davenport; four grandchildren; and his brothers, John (Geraldine) Endresak and Walter Endresak, all of Bettendorf.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Elizabeth Tadder; his brothers, Joseph and Frank; and his sister-in-law, Rosalia Endresak.
