James E. Morris, 62, a former resident of Bettendorf, Iowa died on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Clinton, Iowa.
Services will be private. Memorials may be made to Eagle Point Nursing Home in Clinton. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home of Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.
He was born August 5, 1952 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Harry E. & LaVonne (Wilmes) Morris.
In earlier years, James was employed by the railroad. In his spare time, he loved to hunt and fish.
Those left to honor his memory include his twin sons, James Siem and John (January) Siem, all of Davenport; his grandchildren, Kory, Jett, Chance, Austin and Justin; his sisers, Gail Youngman and Rachel Bibby, both of Davenport; his brothers, David (Debbie) Morris of Aldrich, Missouri and John (Dianna) Morris of Davenport; and his half-brother, Jerry (Diane) Morris in Wisconsin.
James was preceded in death by his parents; and by his brother, Harry Morris Jr.
