James E. "Bud" Ray

James E. “Bud” Ray, 56, of New London, Iowa and formerly of LeClaire, Iowa, died Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in New London.

There will no services at this time.  McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.

James was born March 28, 1965 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Jim & Bonnie (Nevins) Ray.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Amanda (Chad) Wells of Le Claire and his son, Alex Ray of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Lillith, Annalia, Draven, Charleigh and Kenadee; his sister, Holly (Ray) Maier of Lodi, Wisconsin; and his brother, Todd (Linda) Nevins of Hillsdale, Illinois.

James was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father, Russ Stock.
