Janet E. Allinger

     Janet E. Allinger, 84, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa died on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at MercyOne Genesis in Davenport, Iowa.

     At her request, there will be no services.

     She was born November 12, 1940 in Davenport, the daughter of Elmo A. and Lucille (Tarkett) Woeber. Janet had been employed as a cook and in the bakery at Hy-Vee and Walmart.

     She was an accomplished baker and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and treasured the times spent with them.

     Those left to honor her memory include her children, Carol Loomis, Bonnie (Bubba) Brinkley, Jennifer Allinger, Kevin (Terri) Allinger and George Allinger; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; her sisters, Joyce Woeber, Judy Burke and Julie Lumley; and her brothers, John Woeber and Joe Woeber.

     She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Plumb; her brother, Jim Woeber; and her parents.
