Jean Seibel
January 10, 1919 — August 2, 2016
Imogene “Jean” Seibel, 97, a resident of Bettendorf, died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the Bettendorf Health Care Center in Bettendorf.
There will be no services held at this time. She will be laid to rest at the Rock Island National Cemetery in Rock Island, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Bettendorf VFW Post 9128 or Shriner Hospitals for Children.
Imogene was born on January 10, 1919 in Ladora, Iowa, the daughter of Audrey and Fern (Kinsler) Keil. On Devember 9, 1950 in DeWitt, Iowa, she married Edward L. Seibel. He preceded her in death on September 9, 1998.
Survivors include her step-son, Finley E. “Ned” Seibel of Anchorage, Alaska and a niece, Shelley Zangerle of Marengo, Iowa.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Marjorie Vaughn and Kathryn “Pete” Kinzenbaw.
