Joanne L. "Jo Jo" Schutte

Joanne L. “Jo Jo” Schutte, 70, of Davenport, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at her residence.
   
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19th at Adventure Church, Davenport. Inurnment will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.  Memorials may be directed to the family. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home is assisting the family with
arrangements.
   
Joanne was born on June 2, 1953.  On December 16, 1972, she married Richard W. “Dick” Schutte in Davenport. She worked for over 10 years at Slagle Foods, Davenport.  Joanne was a sister, wife, mother, aunt, but most importantly a grandmother.  Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she loved spending time with each of them.
   
Those left to honor her memory are her son, Dennis (Angela) Schutte of Davenport and Donald (Ron) Schutte of East Moline; five grandchildren, Jolene McKittrick, Dante Bergthold, Brody Schutte, Rylan Schutte, and Zoey Schutte; and several brothers and sisters.
   
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dick; and two sisters.
