John Griggs
June 10, 1957 — August 15, 2021
John D. “David” Griggs, 64, died Sunday, August 15, 2021 in Davenport.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 24th at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Inurnment will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Jessie Griggs; beloved dog, Dizzie; siblings, Vickie Gullquist, Kay (Duane) Baker, Butch (Alta) Sorenson, Robert (Cindy) Sorenson, Sherry (Mitch) Fanning, Janet Dolan, Deb Thornburg, Julie Wilson, Jay (Becky) Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Zach Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Sorenson.
