John Alex Herriges, 75, of Eldridge, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at his home.Private graveside services will be held at Monmouth Cemetery in Monmouth, Iowa.
Alex was born January 8, 1949, the son of Arnold & Genevia (Johnson) Herriges. His wife, Connie Herriges preceded him in death in 2021. Alex worked with Enterprise Rent-A-Car for a number of years and was formerly employed with Glus Brothers. He had been a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Long Grove, Iowa and enjoyed playing tennis.
Those left to honor his memory include his step-children, Cara & Jason Kramer of Bettendorf and John & Shelagh Clark of Bettendorf and their children, Ryan and Elizabeth Kramer and Mackenzie, Payton and Oliver Clark
