John R. Kuhrt

John Raymond Kuhrt, a devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather (Bompa) passed away peacefully at home on October 18, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family and furry friends, Bella and Gray Cat. He was born in Davenport on January 8, 1956.

John was an amazing family man that focused his entire life on tirelessly supporting and loving his family. He is survived by his wife, Chris Kuhrt, his son, Christopher (Wales) and his beloved grandchildren Katie Bug (Elizabeth) and Austin Wales. John was an avid RC enthusiast, gardener, and was most happy when working tirelessly on yardwork and home projects.

John was preceded in death by his beloved animal companions, Tiger, Maggie, Sugar and Spice.
