Johnette S. “Johnie” Allshouse, 69 years, 11 months & 7 days, a life-long resident of the Quad-Cities, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at her home in Bettendorf, Iowa.

Johnette was born June 6, 1950 in Davenport, the daughter of John Harold & Dorothy (Gray) Allshouse. She was a 1968 graduate of Bettendorf High School
Johnette had been in retail management for most of her career. She enjoyed music, listening to her vinyl records and bands and her collection of vintage clothes. Having enjoyed dining out in restaurants, she was an accomplished cook who enjoyed baking. She cherished the time she spent with her granddaughter, Willa and keeping up to date via text and the company of her cat, Patches.
Her unique view from her home allowed her to watch the river, the trains and a front-row seat of the progress of the new I-74 bridge. She loved to be outdoors and found a peacefulness in nature. She held a strong faith and had also studied her Bible.
Those left to honor her memory include her twin-daughters, Mary (Bill) Sheesley and Amy Arguello; her granddaughter, Willa Sheesley; all of Omaha, Nebraska; her sister, Shirlee (Chuck) Walloch of Bettendorf; her brother, Alan Allshouse of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and many other extended family members.
Johnette was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Cindy Jo Allshouse.
