Jonah Alexander Cullett, 16, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa died on Sunday, May 23, 2010 after a drowning accident near DeWitt, Iowa.
His funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel in Bettendorf. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
He was born February 24, 1994 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of David M. and Diane L. (Loter) Cullett and was about to finish his sophomore year at Pleasant Valley High School.
Jonah was an avid fisherman, enjoyed playing baseball, was looking forward to going out for football at Pleasant Valley this year and hoped that one day, he could learn to fly an airplane.
Those left to honor his memory include his mother & step-father, Diane Cullett & Jeff Moore of Bettendorf; his father, David Cullett of Davenport; his sister, Amber (Jeff) Klinkenberg of DeWitt, Iowa; his brothers, David Michael Cullett of Iowa City, Iowa and Jacob Logan Cullett of Bettendorf; his nieces, Terra & Ella Klinkenberg; his nephew, Austin Klinkenberg; and many loving aunts, uncles & cousins.
