Kyle James Briggs, 27, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died in Bettendorf on Sunday, January 27, 2013.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 1, 2013 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel in Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
He was born in Davenport on February 28, 1985, the son of Timothy A. & Mary B. (Warner) Briggs.
Kyle was employed as a carpenter and will always be remembered for his infectious smile, his warm heart and the loving hugs he gave and received.
Those left to honor his memory include his mother & step-father, Mary & Gregory Mann of Davenport; his daughter, Isabella August Von Maur; his sister, Kayla Briggs; his brothers, Tim (Heather) Briggs and Nehemiah Briggs, all of Davenport; his grandmothers, Betty Warner and Carol Briggs, both of Davenport; his girlfriend, Sarah of Davenport; his close friend, Amy in California; and several nieces and a nephew.
Kyle was preceded in death by his father.
