Lee Fadiga, 52, a resident of rural Blue Grass, Iowa died on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa following a brief illness.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 A.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Buffalo, Iowa.
He was born January 13, 1960 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Joe M. & Hilda Irene (Schroeder) Fadiga.
Lee was employed by Grass Groomers of Blue Grass. He enjoyed working on machinery, working on cars, trucks & motorcycles and was an avid collector or antique guns.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Brandy (Joshua) Schmidt-Allgeier of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; his son, Joseph (Amber) Fadiga of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Hope Fadiga, Keegan Schmidt-Allgeier and Kyler Schmidt-Allgeier; his mother, Irene Fadiga of Blue Grass; his sisters, Jane (Roland) Wenger of Wheatland, Iowa, Julie Fadiga of Blue Grass and Shelly (Dwaine) Keltner of Davenport; and his brother, Steven D. (Kim) Fadiga of Davenport.
His father and his grandparents preceded him in death.
