Leslie M. Preisser

In loving memory of Leslie Preisser, age 44, whose vibrant spirit and zest for life touched all who knew her. Leslie's adventurous soul found joy in traveling to concerts and festivals, exploring bodies of water during kayaking trips, and enchanting everyone with her culinary creations at every gathering. Her passion for life was infectious, leaving a lasting impact on those around her.

Tragically, Leslie's life was taken too soon, leaving behind a void in the hearts of her loved ones. She is survived by her cherished daughters Delainey Bozik and Liberty Powell, whom she loved dearly and leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience. She will be deeply missed by her father Joel Preisser, mother Julie (Les) Richardson, sister Joleyne (Joe) Gimm and their children Devin, Collin, Vivian, Norah, Owen, and Grace, her brother James (Steph) Sales and their son Mason, her brother Justin (Leah) Preisser and their children Arden, Nova, and Maxton, and her brother Jonathan Gimm. Leslie was preceded in death by her grandma Mary Catherine and her aunt Mary Huyten. She is survived by her uncle Bill Huyten. She is also survived by many extended family members and her dearest friends, including her best friend Terrie Moore.

A celebration of Leslie's life will be held on Saturday, February 17th, at Sunrise Golf Course, 3947 Moencks Rd., Bettendorf, IA, from 1pm to 8pm. Bring a dish to share if you would like. We encourage those attending to wear a band shirt to honor her love of music. Music was not just a pastime for Leslie; it was a profound source of meaning and joy in her life, enriching every moment with its rhythm and melody.

For those who wish to honor Leslie's memory, a memorial is being created for her daughters, Delainey and Liberty.
