Linda Brunt

Linda Mae Brunt, 64, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at her home surrounded by her beloved family after living graciously and courageously with cancer.

Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Monday, October 25, 2021, at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Private family graveside services will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Davenport. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Cancer Center or Genesis Hospice of Bettendorf.

She was born in Davenport, Iowa on December 28, 1956, the daughter of Henry and Anita (Pietz) Fleck. On June 14, 1980, Linda was united in marriage to Damian P. Brunt in Bettendorf.

Linda was a devoted and loving wife, mom & grandma. She loved to travel, shared an ongoing interest in cars with her husband, and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers. While Linda had many joys in her life, it is without question that the brightest lights in her life were her four grandchildren. Her best days were spent spending time with them and showering them with love, affection, and many presents.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Damian; her daughters, Kristin (Jason) Clark of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Angela (Greg) Geistkemper of Bettendorf; her grandchildren, Gavin & Keegan Clark and Addison & Brady Geistkemper; and many other relatives and beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Anita Fleck, and her brothers, Jim Fleck and Bob Fleck.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Genesis Hospice and especially Maggie for her compassionate and tender care shown to them during this difficult time.
