Lois Mess Blunt, 74, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa, died on Sunday, October 18, 2015 after a brief illness. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice or directed to the family. They have asked that flowers not be sent.
She was born in Princeton, Iowa on August 7, 1941, the daughter of Eldon James Mess and Lillian Keenan Domer. In 1972 she married William Blunt. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2014.
Those left to honor her memory include: daughter, Lyn (Michael) Miskowicz of Eagan, MN; son, Terry (Denise) Joens of Bettendorf; grandsons, Christopher (Cassie & Ryder) Joens and Chase Miskowicz; siblings, William Mess, Brenda Watson, James (Mary) Mess, and Gail Burkamper; and several nieces and nephews.
