Marian Mathenia

Memorial services for Marian “Judy” Mathenia, 77, of Bettendorf, will be 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf.  Family will greet friends on Tuesday from 12:00 pm to service time at the funeral home.

Judy passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, at the Bettendorf Health Care Center, Bettendorf.

        Marian “Judy” Linebaugh was born on January 14, 1946, in Tampa, Fl. the daughter of Francis and Dorothy (Leeks) Linebaugh. She married Leslie Mathenia on December 9, 1975, in Tampa, Fl. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for newborn babies.  

        Survivors include her husband Leslie, of Bettendorf, son, Paul (Gina) Mathenia of Park View, IA, a grandson Jace and sister Dorothy List of Lake City, Fl.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a stepdaughter, Heather.
